Private Lessons

Fine tune your skills with private lessons at Highwood! Whether you sing, act, play an instrument (or want to learn how), Highwood’s private lessons make it easy!

Just fill out the private lessons form indicating you want to take private lessons, the type of lessons you want to take, and your general availability, and a member of Highwood’s staff will pair you with one of our teaching artists who will best suit your needs!

Highwood’s private lessons are popular due to the ability of our instructors, working professionals in their field, to get the best out of each student, no matter their goal or experience level. Highwood’s private lessons are also more cost effective than other organizations - you truly get the most bang for your buck!

The friendly atmosphere that our Highwood instructors bring to each and every lesson is proof that we take our “anyone can do theatre” mantra to heart. This allows us to connect with our students, which in turn fosters a safer and more productive learning environment.

Whether you are looking for classical, jazz, pop, choral, musical theatre lessons or coaching in music theory, there is no better place to be than The Highwood Theatre!

Applying to college or doing an audition?  Our highly-trained faculty can help you prepare, and even film/edit your audition video!

Most often, private lessons are scheduled once a week for 45 minutes. However, we can also accommodate students wishing to meet more or less frequently or for 30 minutes/one hour.

Lessons can be scheduled during the school day for home schooled students or after school/on weekends and can begin at any time during the semester.
